Upon arrival in April, I found the rooms a little humid due to the A/C not working properly at H Resort. The service, however, was top-notch with very accommodating and friendly staff from day one. The location is extremely hot but in one of the most beautiful spots in Seychelles, Beau Vallon, with direct access to a gorgeous beach. The dining experience at Vasco restaurant was very rich and varied. The facilities are extensive and well-kept.
The hotel is a lovely haven from the intense heat and humidity, with spacious rooms that might lack full privacy in the bathroom area due to frosted glass doors. The service, though friendly most of the time, had a minor hiccup with a lock issue. The location offers everything you need and a great beach, but can get noisy with kids and lack sun loungers. The dining experience was good, though not amazing. Overall, a cool retreat with a few considerations to keep in mind.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were not only a good size and very comfortable but also had a great view. They were beautiful, very comfortable, and very clean. Being next to the kids club and closest to the beach, which was just about 10 meters away, was so convenient. The service was top-notch, with everyone being incredibly helpful and always smiling from reception to the restaurant. The location was just perfect, near a public beach and evoking a sense of luxurious relaxation, especially right on the famous Beau Vallon public beach in Mahé. The dining experience, although a bit pricey at 60 euros per person, was nice, especially with tasty sandwiches. Overall, a wonderful experience!
The hotel offers a mix of positives and drawbacks. While the rooms have some design quirks like glass doors in the bathroom and a slight damp smell, they do come with a wonderful terrace for enjoying the tropical surroundings. The price may not entirely match the experience compared to similar options.
I stayed in a Junior Garden Suite which was spacious with good amenities, but a bit tired with slight mold staining in the bathroom. The room smelled a bit musty, but there was a dehumidifier on which helped with the humidity issues. The room rate seemed high for only having instant coffee sachets provided. The balconies were nice and the size of the rooms impressive.
The hotel offers beautiful and very comfortable rooms, exceptional service from the very friendly and helpful staff, a great location surrounded by stunning landscapes, outstanding dining options, and well-maintained facilities. However, there were issues with the description accuracy and additional costs for certain activities.
